Testing

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease that is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth.

Our rapid COVID-19 test detects genetic material of the virus using a lab technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Also called a molecular test, a lab technician collects a nasal swab to process your test results immediately onsite. Test results are available in less than 15 minutes.

COVID-19 symptoms can vary from person to person and in different age groups. Some of the more commonly reported symptoms include:

  • new or worsening cough

  • feeling feverish

  • headache
